PREDICTING THE FUTURE
JANUARY 01, 2010

Dear {!firstname},

Who hasn't dreamed of winning the jackpot in the lottery? How powerful would we be if we were able to predict the future?
I have played the lottery for many years, but I haven't won so far. That's probably because I am not able to predict the winning numbers.

Let's have a different look at that dream of being able to predict the future. It's obvious that most of us can't predict the future. If this were not true, we'd all be millionaires. We need to ask what else is possible for us.

PREDICTING THE FUTURE

What we can do is observe what happened in the past and what is happening in the present, and figure out what will likely happen in the future. That, then, is what we'll guess will happen. When we have done our job of observation well, it's likely that we will guess right.

Again, there are two kinds of predictions:
- A medium is getting messages from someone invisible to us.
- Guesses are made according to what is very likely - for example, the weather forecast.
The latter one is the key to the powerful tool of predicting the future without exactly knowing what will happen.

Why is the ability to predict the future the key to implementing your vision?

When you know what you want for your life, the next step is to recognize where, how and under what circumstances your goals might be possible. That's why making predictions is essential for implementing your vision.

Do you have a vision for your future, for your life? Do you have a vision for this world? You first need to have a vision that is based on past experience and present circumstances.
You would like to predict the future because you have to recognize what is truly possible and how you can implement your vision if you want to work towards attaining your goals.
If you were able to predict everything, you could make almost everything possible. For example, you could win the jackpot in the lottery, prevent bad accidents, and know when and how to start a business so that it would be successful.

In karate, it is important to recognize quickly when someone is about to attack you and how he will do it. If you check your opponent's smallest initial movements, the look and expression in his eyes, behavior patterns, and the thoughts with your intuition, then it might be possible for you to recognize an attack very early.

The earlier you recognize the start of an attack, the more time and options you have to defend yourself. However, the best approach is not to fight at all. Even in this case, being aware of the above elements can help you prevent a fight altogether.

We can apply all these approaches to dealing with people while implementing a vision.

How to use your intuition and your imagination to create the desired future:

Our intuition is our gut feeling. When we know that something is or is not going to happen, even though we don't have any information about the outcome, we know that our gut is talking to us. It's a very reliable kind of unconscious knowledge that is available to us for free.

Our imagination creates a vision of what we would like to attain. This vision is an ideal picture of what we wish to realize. If we want to make something happen, we have to imagine how it could be possible in our reality. The more precise our imagination is, the more likely it is that our vision will develop into reality.

Predicting the future is one of the most powerful tools available to us in this world. That's why it is important to practice predicting the future often. Predicting the future is an ability that increases our power in many ways if we are willing and courageous enough to apply it later. However, we have to take action!

When should we be courageous and listen to our intuition and imagination? We should ask, "What is the worst-case scenario?" What would happen in the worst case if you were wrong? When the worst-case scenario is not bad or not very likely, then it's reasonable to take the risk. Consider the worst-case scenario and listen to your intuition.

QUOTATION OF THE MONTH

"Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present."
